¿Cuales son las Grandes Obras del Arte y que hizo factible el contenido de un modelo curricular de Educación General, en torno a este tema en la Universidad de Puerto Rico? Una manera creativa de abordar las obras de arte que seleccionamos es a través de un currículo donde los estudiantes desarrollen una conciencia estética ambiental que les permita medrar su calidad de vida, responsabilidad social y la conservación de la producción cultural. La ponencia explica a su vez como al trazar y comprender las aportaciones de las obras de artes del pasado se logra en alguna medida plantear los nuevos acercamientos en relación con las claves para la comprensión del fenómeno artístico.
Abstract:
What are the Great Works of Art and what made feasible the contents of a General Education, curriculum model around this theme at the University of Puerto Rico? A creative way of approaching the selected works of art through a curriculum where students develop an environmental esthetic conscience that will allow them to improve their quality of life, their social responsibility, and the conservation of the cultural production. The lecture also explains how by tracing an understanding the contributions of the great works of art from the past, we are able to a certain extent to propose new approaches to relating to the clues to understand the artistic phenomenon.
