El artículo analiza un documento básico para la constitución del predominio científico y técnico de la educación moderna, predominio que llega hasta la actualidad. Los discursos de Nicolás de Condorcet al gobierno revolucionario francés (1792) con el fin de reformar la instrucción pública inauguran esta hegemonía con la cual comienza también el declive de la formación humanística.
Abstract:
This article examines Condorcet’s Memoirs, a basic document for understanding the installation of the predominance of a scientific and technological bend in modern education, an influence which prevails until today. Nicholas Condorcet’s addresses to the Revolutionary French Government (1792) in order to introduce a reform in public instruction initiate the ascendence of a scientific and technological approach to education which coincide with the decline of humanistic schooling.
